SENSOR+TEST trade fair in Nuremberg

Students of the Faculty of Engineering explore the world of sensor and measurement technology

On June 13, 2024, students from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Freiburg visited the SENSOR+TEST trade fair in Nuremberg. This leading international trade fair for sensor, measuring and testing technology offered students a unique opportunity to find out about the latest developments and innovations in these fields.

A wide range of national and international companies were represented. During the excursion, the students had the opportunity to take part in various specialist presentations and workshops led by experts from the industry. They were also able to exchange ideas with exhibitors and gain valuable insights into current trends and technologies, as well as find out about internships and possible jobs after graduation.

In addition to visiting the SENSOR+TEST, the students were also able to visit the parallel PCIM Europe and SMTconnect trade fairs, which focus on power electronics and electronics production.

The excursion was organized by the Chair of Electrical Measurement and Embedded Systems. The Faculty of Engineering in Freiburg plans to support similar excursions in the future in order to continue to provide students with practical insights into their subject areas.
