BMT at the Science Days 2023

How do you control a modern arm prosthesis? The numerous visitors to the booth of the Laboratory for Biomedical Microtechnology were able to try this out for themselves last week with the help of a muscle-controlled robot arm. With this human-machine-interface, the group of the Cluster of Excellence BrainLinks-BrainTools impressed young and old. The Technical Faculty of the University of Freiburg was represented at the Science Days in Europapark Rust, Germany's largest science and STEM festival. Through the multifaceted range of institutions from science, education and business, young people were able to orient themselves and gain insights into various training and career opportunities.
