Successful cooperation with the University of California (UCLA)

Johannes Erhardt from the Laboratory for Biomedical Microtechnology explores the behavior of implants in magnetic resonance tomography (MRT)

The first contact between Johannes Erhardt and the scientists from the University of California was established after the junior researcher in the cluster of excellence BrainLinks – BrainTools had presented his newest research findings at an international conference on magnetic resonance in medicine (ISMRM). Close upon a lively discussion followed an invitation to Los Angeles with the purpose of a joint analysis of the behavior of implants in magnetic resonance tomography. A research visit of 11 weeks not only set the starting point for a promising German-American cooperation, but also yielded first results that will be presented at the ISMRM 2018 in Paris.

A personal report from Johannes Erhardt can be found here.
