Data Wonderland

NEXUS Experiments is hosting Data Wonderland on the campus of the Faculty of Engineering. Data Wonderland opens its doors on Friday, June 30 from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the campus Flugplatz. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend the two-day interactive festival on data and artificial intelligence.

Who has more health data about you - your family doctor or your smartphone? How many people do you know that could identify you just from your medication list? Does your fitness tracker know more about your health than you do?

Collecting personalized health data and analyzing it through self-learning artificial intelligence systems is seen by some as an inevitable path to the future. Everyday analog life seems increasingly immersed in virtual worlds.

But don't worry: We bring light into the dark, dense data jungle. We clear the ring for bit jugglers and neurodance glitter. Get into the fitness ring at Pillow Fight Club, embark on an intergalactic mission at Space Junk. Travel back to the future of 2078 before you meet your virtual twin. Trust yourself and listen to the listen to the melody of your life.

Data Wonderland is the data festival of a special kind! Without animal acts but with robots, tamers and predatory capitalists; not artificial, but intelligent.

The event is barrier-free. Admission is free.

NEXUS Experiments is a platform for participatory science education and community-based participatory research in the fields of human-technology interaction, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
