First Startup BBQ at the Faculty

Great atmosphere at the livMatS Shell

The first Startup BBQ on 11th June at the Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the University of Freiburg's Startup Office, was a complete success!

The event took place in the inspiring location of the livMatS Shell and offered a perfect atmosphere for an evening full of innovation. Special thanks go to Prof. Jürgen Rühe for his introductory talk about this impressive building.

Three successful start-ups that emerged directly from the faculty and the University of Freiburg presented their innovative ideas and shared their experiences on the road to founding a company. The discussion moderated by the Start-up Office included exciting contributions from:

Over the last 20 years, more than 20 start-ups have emerged from the Faculty of Engineering, which underlines the strength of our community and the potential of our students.

The event not only provided valuable information about start-ups and funding, but also support and advice from experts. It was a great platform for networking and sharing ideas.
