Prof. Dr. Kristof Van Laerhoven
His research is in designing small and efficient sensor-based systems that can be worn comfortably by people over long stretches of time, or deployed in large numbers as wirelessly-connected units.
Previously, he headed an Emmy Noether Research Group on Embedded Sensing Systems at the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
