Hans Zappe elected Fellow of SPIE

SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics with more than 18,500 members worldwide, has elected Hans Zappe as Fellow. He received this distinction for his achievements in micro-optics and integrated optics. SPIE Fellows are honored for their technical achievement, for their service to the general optics community, and to SPIE in particular. More than 1,300 SPIE members have become Fellows since the Society's inception in 1955.
