A recent article in "Lab on a Chip" describing an optofluidic optical router developed by the Gisela and Erwin Sick Chair of Micro-optics in collaboration with CSIC in Barcelona, Spain, was featured as a "Research Highlight" by Nature Photonics (On-chip router,” Nature Photonics, vol. 8, p. 85, 2014). Prof. Dr. Moritz Diehl has been appointed as a professor for the newly installed Chair of Systems Theory at IMTEK and has taken over this position at the beginning of the winter semester 2013/14. IMTEK hosts the second dissemination workshop of the European-Japanese Project EUJO-LIMMS funded by the EU and the JSPS. EUJO-LIMMS is a cooperation project between IMTEK, the Institute of Industrial Science (IIS) of the University of Tokyo, VTT (Finland) and EPFL (Switzerland).
