IMTEK career: Dr. Min Hu joins the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in Singapore

Dr. Min Hu, former research scientist at the Simulation group of the Laboratory for MEMS Applications, joins the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, Singapore as of April 2006.

The Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) was established to spearhead the advancement of biomedical sciences in 2003. Committed to the pursuit of excellence in biomedical sciences and guided by its mission of “Charting New Frontiers in Science, Engineering and Medicine” of Singapore's life science industry, IBN targets to be a world-class scientific research institute. It focuses on creating knowledge and cultivating talent to develop technology platforms that will spur the growth of new industries in Singapore.
 
From July 2004 to March 2006, Dr. Min Hu conducted his research for the “Artificial Synapse” project and successfully developed the “Phase Gap (Air Gap)” technology at the laboratory of MEMS Applications.
