M.Sc. Simon Kretschmer was awarded for the best poster during this year's International Autumn School of the NAMIS research network

NAMIS is an international research network on Nano and Micro Systems initiated by the french National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Institute of Industrial Sciences (IIS) of the University of Tokyo.

60 junior scientists from 9 countries did participate in a one-week worshop with thematic focus on Micro/nano technologies for futur health, environment and sustainability". The state of the art was presented to the participants in different specialist lectures during this workshop. Apart from the lectures the meeting focused on the exchange between the participants. For this reason and amongst other activities Simon Kretschmer's poster entitled "MEMS endomicroscope for simultaneous white-light microscopy and Optical Coherence Tomography" was presented with the Platin Award.
