For his poster „Novel gravimetric calibration method for nano liter liquid handling devices” Dong Liang was awarded the best poster award of the 1st International Conference on MicroFluidic Handling Systems, which took place from October 10 - 12.

Liang is a PhD candidate at the Institut für Mikro- und Informationstechnik of the Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft (HSG-IMIT) in Freiburg and belongs to the joint research group of the Lab for MEMS Applications and HSG-IMIT.

The main foci of the conference were technologies, components and devices for microfluidic application in the fields of Life Sciences.

Co-authors of the paper are Dr. Laurent Tanguy, Andreas Ernst, Dr. Peter Koltay and Prof. Dr. R. Zengerle.
